In each tier of our wedding cakes we offer three layers of filling and four layers of cake for a very elegant and delicious presentation on your guest's plate.
The top tier is not counted into the number of servings since it is traditionally saved for the first anniversary, nor do we charge for it. You may certainly serve it to your guests for extra servings (or use it as a midnight snack or for breakfast). If you prefer not to save it we would gladly make another cake on your first anniversary for a minimal charge.
We offer different shaped tiers besides the traditional round such as square, hexagon, heart, petal, oval, or a combination. There is an additional charge for a shaped tier.
You may choose more than one flavor in your wedding cake at no additional charge.
Cakes can be stacked, separated with pillars, or staggered on stands.
In most cases, all wedding cake parts and stands will be picked up by Colorado Rose Cake Company or a mailing envelope will be supplied. If the delivery site is not one of our regular delivery locations, we will ask for a deposit and for you to be responsible for the safe return of all parts and stands. These pieces will be due back the following week before Wednesday at which time your deposit will be returned.
Serving sizes are a small, traditional slice, 1" by 2" by 4.5" tall.

There are many variables that will go into the price of a wedding cake. The base price for a wedding cake is figured for a round cake with a piped-on design. The following sizes will give you an idea of just a few of our options and starting prices.

By adjusting the size and number of tiers, we can give you the look and number of servings you would like.
Additional charges would include a more involved design, colored icing, shaped cakes, specialty flavors of cake, filling, or icing, sugarpaste flowers or decorations, fresh fruit in filling, sugared fruit, chocolate dipped strawberries.
We would be happy to give you a more accurate quote at a complimentary consultation and tasting for two. Additional consultations are $20.

Sugared fresh fruit, chocolate dipped strawberries, or sugarpaste flowers are available at an additional charge.
Fresh flowers for your wedding cake can be ordered from your florist so they match the rest of your wedding. We prefer to place any flowers on the cake to complete the design and ask that they be left on the cake table for placement. Colorado Rose Cake Company, LLC will not be responsible for any damage done to the cake as a result of floral placement by someone other than Colorado Rose Cake Company.

We limit the number of wedding cakes we will do each weekend to ensure that your cake will receive our personal attention to every detail. Popular summer dates can book up quickly. We suggest that you book your cake 3-12 months in advance, and if possible before the busy wedding season limits our consultation availability. We will make every effort to accommodate shorter notice.
Any changes can be made up to two weeks before your wedding date.

Wedding cakes are delivered approximately 1-1/2 hours before the start of the wedding ceremony or reception, taking location conditions into consideration.

There is a $100 deposit due to hold the date, which will be applied toward the cost of the cake. $50 is non-refundable in case of cancellation.

We do not accept credit cards, however personal checks, money orders, and cash are fine. Please put the wedding date and bride/groom's last name on the memo line of checks.
Payments may be made at any time but will be due in full no later than two weeks before the wedding date.

If a wedding cake order is canceled prior to two weeks before the wedding date, any payments already made will be refunded less $50. If the cake is cancelled within the two-week period prior to the wedding, we will refund any amounts paid less the $50 and any charges for the actual work completed to that point for your cake that can not be used in another application.

For those on a very tight budget, our Simply Elegant line includes our delicious cake with a single layer of filling and a design from our Simply Elegant line. Fresh flowers would come from your florist with minimal flower placement included. Another option would be a smaller tiered cake with a sheet cake for extra servings. Delivery charges apply.
